The Butterfly Effect - CCA Interface Show

In this interactive video piece, participants assume dual roles simultaneously: that of audience & performer. Intertwined and interdependent, each gesture sets off a chain reaction in an improvised progression of communication through light, movement, and play. Each visitor is interacting with the electronic system, as well as with visitors in the other projection field, performing, spectating, and influencing alike. Watch what you do with those wings.

In One Ear Out the Other -

Speakers, speaker wire

This piece elevates the status of speakers from sonically transparent high fidelity sound replicators to instruments and sound sources in their own right. 14 speakers are suspended in a web of wires, some functioning as inputs, some as outputs. Visitors are encouraged to touch, swing, pluck, and manipulate the installation to explore the sounds and connections between each speaker in the web.
